This Cd is the third volume, in a set of three, of collected Bonzo Dog material. The three cd Collection comprises: "The intro": the group's first two albums, re-prising their history up to 1968, "The outro": the Bonzo's next two records, which takes the surreal, but incredibly funny, story up to 1970, and this CD: "Dog ends": which, in essence, contains the last album the Bonzo Dog band officially made: "Let's make-up and be friendly." A small collection of very rare out-takes, and tracks which never made the cut for inclusion on the official releases, are also included: and start the Disc. As I have all the Group's output, the real gems here are the rarieties included, most notably: "Trouser freak" by Roger Ruskin Spear, and "Re-cycled vinyl blues" by Neil Innes. (To My knowledge You cannot find these on any other Album, official or collection, currently available as of 2021: so, if You are a serious Bonzo head or collecter, this makes purchase essential!) Another novel track included, is the hilarious, anarchic "Mr Apollo", and the version here is the German single version. The included Cd Booklet is very good, with a concise, yet engrossing, History of the group's activities, members and time spent in the Studio. The end of the inner sleeve Booklet details, in the manner of the Beatle's Sergeant Pepper, individuals present in some of the Bonzo's cover Art, and how Art College Educations contributed to their visual approach, and it's success. So, very well worth the money, for those who have never heard this crazy band, and also for die-hard enthusiasts, eager to gain more audio from the archives! I also like the front cover, which continues the cut and paste simplicity of pre-digital image making...and in colour too! Recommended!! Five Stars. Read full review
