This has been out before but this time the tapes have been remastered. It’s my first purchase of this particular album so I can’tcomment on whether it sounds better than the earlier version but one has to be careful because it’s live at the BBC. and not Abbey Road but it does sound mostly very good but not as good as the studio versions. I’m interested in the songs I’ve not heard before so I bought the CD for that reasonalone. After all it’s the best band that ever graced a studio or live so you have to get this..

Having purchased virtually all of the Beatles material and listened to it time and time again, it's nice to hear a selection of songs that weren't on any of their albums originally. There are many songs they would have played live in their early days at the clubs. Very enjoyable to listen to, along with all of their studio banter. I already have the original 1990s version, but this remastered one is much better. Some of the chatter is different on this version, and only one or two songs are talked over at the beginning. There are also versions of many of their early hit records, though for me the main reason for buying the CDs was for the previously unreleased non originals.
