Reviews"CALL THE COMET is easily Johnny Marr’s most confident solo album. Lead single ‘The Tracers’ sets the tone, executing a perfect balance between Marr’s iconic guitar style and more experimental production.", "All in all, it’s a joy to experience. The opulent, bright and breezy opener ‘Rise’ hits you like sunstroke, as a sci-fi rock soundscape backs Marr calling upon the listener to 'hear the truth'...", "Here he gives free rein to a more grandiose spirit, channelling some of the sublime scale of his soundtrack work with Hans Zimmer."
Great album. Two of the songs remind me of Andy Summers and one reminds me of One Republic! I'm not trying to slate this album but I am liking it even more as a result. I eagerly await his next album and already I like his latest single, "Armatopia". Bring it on Johnny! Five stars.
