Latest 6" Rabone is superb
I have used Rabone rules for many years. Never had any problems with them. This new 6" is a bit wider than the others & for my ageing eyes better to read. The same great quality with nice fine engraved looking lines. They will probably tell us that they are now made by some new lazer technology. Either way, the whole of the engraving is superb.

Excellent rule
I have a number of rulers, but this is one of the best. It is rustless, so it will stay readable. 6" or 250mm rule is good for most measurements, and is not so big and awkward to use, it slips into a pocket. One one side, it has mm on BOTH edges - often I want to measure a distance from a corner, and rulers which have mm on one edge and inches on the other, with the same on both sides, are nowhere near as useful - a stupid waste of opportunity. On the other side, it has both sides in inches, one in tenths and the other in 16ths. Although I prefer to use mm, a lot of old-fashioned things go by 8ths and so on, and it is best to have a ruler marked accurately and clearly in both fractions.
