Part of the plastic problem!
I bought this to remove rubbish on my my daily walk - it broke on the second day of use as the grabber jaws are made from cheap brittle plastic and now it seems I have added to the problem of plastic rubbish for the planet rather than being part of the solution. This is a great item, it's much longer than most of the others that I have seen.. It's also very lightweight which I needed and it can be put back together very easily if your silly son touches it.. He looks at everything with his hands and drives me mental!! Anyhoo, back to the reacher/grabber.. I can fix my curtains without having to stretch or get up on some ladders and I can organize all of my jammies and sox from afar without all the bending etc.. Aaand.....I can even change the disc in my DVD player from in bed.....so...result!! Thanks for a great product at an affordable price..
