The short grain Selenio rice variety used for Organic Brown Sushi Rice has characteristics very similar to the Japonica rice that is used to make sushi in Japan. Once ripened, the rice is then hulled by a rice miller located in the nearby town of Trino.

TRY IT AT LEAST ONCE
SUPERIOR PRODUCT; I have many allergies including many foods. There are sooo many issues concerning what they have done to rice in the U.S.A. Google it and you will see. My body knows more than I do. They all make me sick in different ways. NO PROBLEM with this Rice. The White Version is somewhat sticky and makes excellent suski rolls. The brown rice purchased of course has more nutrition due to its husk and an excellent flavor. It doesn't taste moldy or supercharged with VIT C to reduce it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to try at least once. A little pricey, as it's coming from England but worth it if you have a compromised immune system ....hope this helps
