Clearspring's organic brown sushi rice is ideal for creating delicious, perfectly cooked rice that can be used to make wholesome and delicious dishes, including sushi. We thought long and hard about adding it to our range as it takes considerably more time to cook than organic white sushi rice, but considering the amazing flavour and addition of whole grains, it is worth it. The short grain Selenio rice variety used for Organic Brown Sushi Rice has characteristics very similar to the Japonica rice that is used to make sushi in Japan. It is organically grown in the Piemonte region of northwest Italy, an area also renowned for the cultivation of risotto rice.

TRY IT AT LEAST ONCE
SUPERIOR PRODUCT; I have many allergies including many foods. There are sooo many issues concerning what they have done to rice in the U.S.A. Google it and you will see. My body knows more than I do. They all make me sick in different ways. NO PROBLEM with this Rice. The White Version is somewhat sticky and makes excellent suski rolls. The brown rice purchased of course has more nutrition due to its husk and an excellent flavor. It doesn't taste moldy or supercharged with VIT C to reduce it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to try at least once. A little pricey, as it's coming from England but worth it if you have a compromised immune system ....hope this helpsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
