Product Information

Pectin is a viscous heteropolysaccharide that occurs naturally in fruits, especially apples, pears, and peaches. It's the gel that holds the fibres of a fruit together. When it comes to winemaking, if the pectin isn't broken down during fermentation, the wine becomes cloudy and unpalatable. This is when you need a pectic enzyme. Pectolase naturally breaks down pectin, producing a home-brewed wine that is clear and consistent.

Small and perfect
Can't go wrong with Youngs pectolase, it's great quality. Good size 32 grm pot keeps fresh as did not want to buy bigger. Could not find this any where so very pleased.

If you are into home wine making you will already know the brand and expect a quality product and this is no different. What I would like to praise here is the vendor I bought it from.
