Brilliant tool
I've been after one of these for years it does exactly what it says on the tin!! So easy to open battery caps without damaging them as screwdrivers do. I paid the asking price because I've never seen one but have wanted one for years. A useful tool for the box.
If you have a boat, motorhome, or have a battery installation using refillable cells, then this tool is indispensable. The caps on batteries use a cross shaped indent to accept a bladed tool. The caps are soft and often are difficult to turn. Anything other than a blade that fills the indent fully and exactly is liable to burr up the plastic to the point they cannot ever be turned again. The blade on this item is a very good fit to the vent caps on all the batteries I've tried so far and it has the ability to take a tommy-bar for those really stubborn caps. Bought this to remove the recessed battery caps on a Banner leisure battery. It fits nicely and worked fine - much better than messing about with coins and mole grips. Good to have such a distinctive pattern on the handle too - easy to pick out from a toolbox.
