Very Effective
This catches loads of moths and other insects. I've used it for about a year and it is still going strong. Excellent product! Don't buy the weak power ones - this 20W one does the job! product works great and does what it should, although please be aware, that this is wired to the usual Chinese standards,which i wasn't happy about e.g colors of wires in plug dont match UK specs, also the switch is wired to the neutral instead of the live , i put this right by completely rewiring it to UK standards, and fitting a fuse to the mains side of the high voltage circuit, as the high voltage unit is just a very basic capacitor / diode voltage multiplier circuit, and in the event it went faulty, it could lead to mains voltage at high current on the grid matrix at the front of the unit, if you have the time and competence to rewire the unit to UK standards, the item is worth buying if not leave it alone and buy a better modelVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

electric shock
i want to know if these insect killers are checked before they are shipped out, because the person who should have checked mine would have got an electric shock, but thats not the worst thing and that is the thing wasn't even switched on, it was plugged in, i picked it up an my hand touched the metal casing and wow didn't expect that, i got a huge electirc shock, that is so dangerous, you shouldn't even get an electric shock like that when its turned on, but just by touching the casing when it wasn't switched on, thats so bad, the thought of one of my grandsons touching it by accident, don't know what it would have done to them if it had been switched on, so glad that i got the shock while it was off, i'm absolutely disgusted that this was sent to me, they all need recalling just incase it kills someone, like a little child and it would only take someone with a pacemaker to touch it and it could kill them wendyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Looks nice and nice size for kitchen. Unfortunately had loads of flies and still have loads of flies. Had it on at all different times and at different heights as per instructions and have not caught one single fly. They do spend a lot of time sat on the top as it is nice and warm.
