  • Beautiful surreal art lens

This lens takes gorgeous surreal ethereal photos and video. Almost a tilt-shift quality. While not a sharp lens, it’s softness is very artistic. The donut-shaped bokeh gives the photo a surreal quality. It is extremely compact for so much zoom. Videos are gorgeous due to the immense compression and surreal depth of field. Note it is quite shaky even on the body-stabilised Olympus e-m5 mk ii so a tripod or steady surface is recommended, especially in low light because the fixed aperture means you may have limited scope to up the shutter speed (though shooting at 1/640 on a cloudy day was fine, and I find it is beautiful at slightly reduced exposure, adding to the ethereal effect). Can’t recommend it enough for art-shooters. Only thing I’ve found is the camera won’t apply focus peaking so I use magnification, but it is very shaky handheld. But got some beautiful shots. Focus ring is very smooth with perfect resistance and accurate response. It does rotate though so CPL filters might be a pain. But no complaints. Exceptional value.
