young granny succeeds first try at crimping
this crimper inspires confidence, being easy to handle with no rattle or twisting. my first time crimping connecters and the pa-21 did some pc fan plugs with no flails. my paws couldn't feel through them very well, but i was still able to grip the crimp closed enough. each crimper in this range has some compatibility overlap. this middle option could become redundant to me if i need smallest and biggest options. still, this one could be passed on to someone or resold, so it's an affordable starter. satisfied with the quality, i have also ordered the middle option of their stripper range.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good tool for a range of small terminals
I have used this tool to successfully crimp JST XH 2.5mm, JST PH 2.0mm, Molex MICRO-FIT 3.0 3mm and Molex KK 2.54mm terminals. To get good results requires some concentration when it comes to aligning the terminal in the jaws and the amount of pressure applied to the wire and insulation so the tool isn't foolproof but with a bit of care it is reasonable straightforward to use. It has a tendency to bend some terminals slightly, but not excessively. Crimping the terminal in two stages (wire then insulation) has the advantage of allowing you to test the connection.
