GREAT UL REEL
I've been using Mitchell reels all of my life and just recently have started to migrate away from the "old" style Mitchell reels to the new Pro line. If your familiar with the old Mitchell 408, dark blue reel, this new Mitchell 310 is very comparable to that reel, in size and weight. Extremely smooth. I've seen where people state that the bail is a little hard to close when winding, that is an issue with the Pro line of Mitchell reels, but after use, they loosen up. I also fish the 308 Pro reel and a Mitchell 358 Pro reel. The 358 comes with an extra shallow spool and very hard to fine. The Mitchell 308 Pro and the Mitchell 358 Pro reels are the same size as the old Mitchell 308 reel. The new Pro line are fantastic reels, never thought I'd get away from my old Mitchell's, have over 60 of them and slowly starting to sell them on eBay. So go out and try one for yourself, I don't think you'll be unhappy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mitchel 310
I was a little skeptical about this reel whenever I purchased it. When I received it from the mailman and took it into the house, I was surprised. The reel is lightweight and it fits perfectly fine with the new rod I bought to put it on. When I put them together, I was and still am a very happy camper.
