Although product is good the one thing that lets it down is having to use a screwdriver to undo. There is also a very small nut that you have to hold at the same time, very fiddly. Such a shame as the rest of the product is great.

Bought this feeder to replace one destroyed by the Squirrel, it looked to be good with metal lid and base and what looked like metal surrounding the feeding holes, but oh no its just plastic painted to look like metal (silver). And as a consequence the Squirrel wrecked it in two days, so have had to bin it. So beware when choosing this type of feeder.

This bird feeder is sold as stainless steel deluxe bird seed feeder which is misleading . The reason I ordered them was because we have a problem with squirrels chewing the cheaper plastic feeders, so I thought they would not be able to chew these as they were stainless steel. The handle, top and bottom may be (although I’m not certain they are!) but the perch and hole protector most certainly are not. I put one of the two feeders I bought out yesterday, and today the squirrels have already chewed around the seed holes on both sides!

This looks to be a well constructed feeder. I had assumed that the two silver ports were steel like the base and hanger. The first squirrel attack proved me wrong. The ports are plastic, rendering the feeder useless within a few minutes. A robust unit let down by the weak ports. If you don't see squirrels in your garden this feeder should last quite a while.
