This train controller from Model Rectifier Corporation is the Tech 7 model that is capable of running multiple model trains on multiple tracks. This system provides proportional tracking control along with overload protection. Each train cab in operation has its own power designation at the controller. The controller allows you to operate at very low speeds, and it will easily switch between forward and reverse. It is compatible with all N, HO and O gauge model train engines.

MRC Tech 7 dual control power Pack
Purchased this unit to replace a Tech 4 dual controller which still works fine. I like the new design and slightly higher "VA" output. It runs two N Guage trains and layout lighting with ease. As with the Tech 4 the control dials are smooth and have a nice feel when adjusting locomotive speeds.

Operations
It isn't as responsive as the " Tech-2" . That being said, I believe that it will be an asset in my train yard. I am converting to DCC, but still have around 30 non DCC engine's which I plan on being active in a new train yard that I am building now.

Great train controller
This controller works great for controlling my 2 HO trains. It has plenty of power, and at slow speeds, the engines perform flawlessly. I normally end up running the controller around 50% and that gives my engine plenty of power to pull the 25 cars I have hooked up to it.
