battery life
If the battery is kept in the unit, it has a short life but if it is kept on the outside (tape) it will last 10 years and also, it is not necessary for this to be a cell phone as well as a 911 phone. It could be a lot smaller if the keyboard and all that makes it a cell phone were eliminated. People buy this as a 911 phone, not a cell phone
