Great product from Osmo. As a professional woodworker I have used it on my salt and pepper mills for years. Eco friendly whilst providing a soft sheen, natural and durable finish.

First time of using Osmo Top Oil. Found the matt finish too matt for my purpose (treating a kitchen table top) so bought satin & it’s fantastic! Matt finish would be great to protect beams etc where you really don’t want to change the look & feel if the wood. Satin gives mild sheen which makes it easy to wipe down. Use sparingly, as stated on tin otherwise it will feel tacky.

I use Topoil on my wooden kitchen worktops. I started using it because the maker of an oak draining board bought boasted that they use Topoil to waterpooof it. They were right; it works great. It is easy to apply, wipe on with cloth or brush. It goes a long way. About one and a quarter 500ml cans did my whole kitchen with 2 to 3 coats. One very small downside: when drying, which takes about six hours, it has a strong solvent smell. You wouldn't want to share a room with it. Solution, apply it and go out for the day.

Have used other worktop oils before but found they discolour and stain. This Osmo oil is excellent has not changed colour and wipes down easily was also very easy to apply and was touch dry quite quickly

Purchased on recommendation from a chum, it really is easy to apply, makes a difference from the 1st coat and my oak surfaces look spot-on. A little seems to go a long way too. Only demerit being that it has a strong odour (not unpleasant) & needs good initial ventilation. I'd choose it again instantly for another similar need.
