This was a Christmas present for an eight year old and she loved it. We played five or six times in succession. The 'swatter' is more robust than I thought it would be and it really does 'stick' the card to its surface when swiped. It's hard to differentiate the hats at speed (but that's the purpose of the game), and for persons less able or quick, or very young children, it would be possible to play with just one or two dice so for example, a two or three year old could just pick out spots or lines on a hat and have great fun with the swat. If you know the game of SET (a card game, or online from the NY Times) it's a children's variation.
So good to play, especially as a whole family! I've already tried to cheat I want to win so bad!
Up to four players can play and it really requires your attention to be able to splat the correct hat! Lots of fun playing this game.
