Good paint for steel wheels
Don't often leave reviews but this was very good paint. Wanted to clean up some steel wheels on an old car. Cleaned up the wheels with wire brush and a sander, Used Tetrosyl Trade grey primer , then the silver wheel paint. Cans are 500 ml whereas a lot of others are 400ml. Good spray, and wheels look a lot nicer. 2 cans of primer and 2 cans of silver wheel paint easily did 5 wheels ( 4 plus the spare). RecommendedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Incredibly tough and easy to apply paint
It is a fast drying paint, that goes on very easily and creates a very tough finish that is perfect for any arduous environment. Yes it's just the things for car wheels, but it's equally at home on any mechanical object that is going to face some harsh conditions. I used it on the runners and fittings for a garage door, it still looks mint after a year of service in an unheated environment. A single tin goes a long way, it covers the surface well with good opacity and it is not runny either, you would have to be very heavy handed to get drips or runs. I was trying to avoid using the cliche "It does what it says on the tin", but that is the perfect means to describe this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent wheel paint
I used HB 2K body primer as a base coat before too coating. Tetrosyl silver wheel paint goes on best with a light coat to start with. Flash off 15mins before reapplying desired number of heavier coats, allowing to dry between coats. Good opacity and coverage. Fine spray nozzle gives a smooth glossy finish. i didn’t experience any runs with this paint and when cured, it gave a durable and attractive look to my wheels. I chose to sandblast my MG Rostyle steel wheels, so the surface had an excellent key for the paint but rubbing down well with wet or dry paper probably would have given equal adhesion. Overall an excellent paint and will definitely buy again.
