How much does safety cost?
I enjoy mountain biking, but above all, I enjoy being safe doing it. Yes I do some daft things at times but isn't that why most of us buy a mountain bike to do such activities instead of just riding them. Cycling in all weathers. Rain is something we have lots of in the UK, during summer, autumn, plenty during winter and loads in spring but being wet isn't always fun so I've purchased the high visibility cycle helmet cover. This cover serves two purposes for me. The first to keep me dry when it's raining and secondly to make me stand out in the crowd or to "look like a sore thumb" as the saying goes. I could have bought a cap for wearing under my helmet but my foam inserts that help to keep my helmet sitting comfortable on my noggin would get wet plus my hair and helmet would also be wet. This cover will keep everything dry and I doubt sweat would built up as there is plenty of air flow when this cover is fitted in place. To fasten this cover in place is via a draw cord and a toggle at the rear. The cover has a row of grey reflective chevrons on each side of the cover coupled with the fluorescent coloured yellow/green nylon fabric. It really is brighter than the photo shows it Would I recommend it? Without a doubt. You can't put a price on safety. Well actually you can, it depends on how much you want to spend. perfect for keeping cold rainy weather at bay
