Comprehensive Resource
Anyone who is either considering making a piece of furniture or has had some experience with furniture/cabinet construction should have a copy of this book as a resource. Tauton Press has figured out a great "formula" for writing and publishing woodworking texts and this is a great example. It provides well written, concise, yet comprehensive explanations with color illustrations about proven methods typically used in furniture and cabinet construction. It begins with the basics about needed tools and equipment and moves into more complex construction procedures. The way the content is structured allows the reader to choose the particular topics that apply to a particular project or process in constructing and attaching the projects components. The beginner will find the equipment setup information very helpful while the more experienced woodworker will find some suggested construction techniques that they may not have ever used.
