I use this glue very successfully to make my practise canvases on packaging cardboard boxes which have been posted to me. Glue two cardboard sides together and glue a good quality white canvas paper to one side. Use a guillotine to tidy up sides and cut to size. And hey-presto, you have good solid canvas boards on re-cycled cardboard. I then just gesso the white canvas side before painting and use my chatty acrylic paint to better seal the back or to prepare the back so I can flip it over and use both sides. Win, win situation or what. You can use the same board repeatedly. If you don’t like your painting just gesso over and practise again. Why waste quality expensive canvases to learn new techniques? These are good enough to keep if you happen to paint something you find that actually you like and want to keep or sell at lower price. I also use the acrylic colours I know I won’t use much if at all to gesso the canvases, or I use that chatty stuff I’ve had for ages and regret buying in the first place. Don’t throw anything out with regards to your art supplies. It’s amazing how much you can re-use or re-purpose and still create something quality and lasting out of total chat. Art supplies are EXPENSIVE if you’re on a tight budget, but that shouldn’t prevent you using your chosen medium. Ask friends to keep their old large bard board boxes if they don’t want them, they are valuable art materials to you got absolutely free. This glue is perfect for the job. It dries clear if you’ve accidentally touched your white canvas, but it’s strong enough to do a really good at giving you a great painting surface with very little effort. Just put something flat over a stack of your newly made canvases with something heavy on top to create pressure enough to stick right up to the very edges of the boards without denting the flat surface on your new creation.Read full review

Bought this to stick down odd bits of loose wallpaper, much better than mixing up a whole bag of paste. Did the job lovely, thank you :)

I've been using it to glue corrugated cardboard about 2.5mm thick and it seems to be holding quite well. I'm happy with it :)
