couldn't quite believe it
I had a problem with the thermostat on my resulting in poor fuel economy only about 43 mpg. Instead of fixing this I fitted one of these boxes resulting in 64 mpg. Incredible I couldn't quite believe it the fuel usage was calculated from using the same garage at the same point and filled up to the brim so I know I'm not being fooled. I can only think this must bypass the inefficient fuelling of the engine when thermistor is cold. Responsiveness has also dramatically improved throughout the rev range. Seems too good to be true but actually works for me.
