There is no need to use a liquid additive or to retard the ignition timing or to fit hardened valve seats. This will allow any engine designed to run on leaded petrol to run safely on normal pump unleaded 95 octane fuel.
Got an old 1960 Royal Enfield which obviously ran on the old leaded petrol. Did a bit of research on the subject and found that a catalyst added to 95 octane petrol would do the trick. All you do is drop these 2 or 3 or sometimes 4, doesn't really matter zinc metal balls that are usually wrapped in wire to keep them together, I just dropped them in my petrol tank that was about 6 months ago and have had no trouble. Hard to believe that something so simple will work. I believe they last up to 150,000 miles.
