1.0mm Replacement tip for Antex CS18,TC50,TCS,SD50 soldering irons. The copper tip has been plated with iron and then coated with nickel to give a very long soldering life when compared with other tips. The tip is suitable for use with lead-free solders. They tip uses an internal metal shim for fixing. This shim gives better heat transfer and also makes the tip easier to change if a replacement is needed.

Not a fan of very fine tipped iron bits, but with SM what can you do?
As per the title, I don’t get on with very fine bits, but with so much amateur electronics now going surface mount it’s hard to avoid. I am hoping that my new temperature controlled iron will make the experience easier. Good quality bits.
