Featuring a skid-proof, water-resistant aluminum alloy body, the flashlight is well-suited for outdoor excursions such as camping, climbing, and cycling. The flashlight has an adjustable focus range and five different switch modes: high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS. It can be powered by either a single 3.7-volt 18650 battery or three AAA batteries. travel necessity
The flashlight has a very solid feel to it, and it's small enough and light enough to slip into a pocket or waist pouch. The rechargeable battery life is excellent, and the brightness of the beam is amazing. The battery easily recharges overnight. The added features--dimming, strobe, SOS flash--work well and provide additional benefits. I always carry one with me when traveling. It's great for everything from viewing exhibits in dark museums to walking home at night. I've never had to use it as a weapon, but it feels tough enough to do some serious damage if you were to punch someone with it, especially if you aimed well for the throat or face.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Decent Light
I was expecting a much brighter light due to the fact that it uses two of the 18650 batteries. I have other lights that use only one that are much brighter that cost less. It is built well. Features I do not like...the zoom is too easy to slide and moves on it's own at times, it does not return to the same brightness mode when you turn it off, causing you to have to cycle five times to get to your last setting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice cheap light
Product is nice and the price was great. Shipping was quick. Only complaint is, changing to a spot is a joke. The lens is fine for flood, but when you change to a spot, you see a grid of the LEDs shining about half as brightly, only 15 feet in front of you. This is a nice cheap light for flood usage, but is definitely not a high-quality light. Spot doesn't exist.If you want long-distance spot, get a better quality original rather than this cheap imitation. But again, for the cheap price, it's nice and much brighter than my existing smaller lights with a single rechargeable battery. focus problem
This flashlight requires two 18650 batteries. They do not come with the flashlight. I found you can not buy this type of battery in any store, they are not available. I had to order them over the internet and they were more expensive than the flashlight. At least they are rechargeable if you by a charger also. The flashlight also cannot be focused to a bright spot. It can light up a room nicely but cannot be focused down to a spot you might want to see better. It's too bad about that because I bought it for the lumens it puts out but since it cannot be focused down, it is not as usable as I would like.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

CREE LED Flashights
I purchased these because I already had 2 pair that were identical in appearence to these, on the assumption that they all come from the same factories in China I took a chance that these would be as good as my original ones, I was not disappointed, seem well made, they are nice and bright and have an easy zoom function..Now as a caveat these are nowhere near 8000 lumen lights as my erperience with China lights are all exaggerated but they are very bright for normal usage, you won't be disappointed with these. If you have some extra 18650 batteries laying around grab a couple of these, can't beat the price and you can't have too many flashlights, kids love them too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great light, but don't need the flashes.
Very nice and bright. Uses one 18650 Li-ion 3.7 volt battery. Would give 5 stars, but found the flashing modes to be more of a nuisance. Do use the zoom feature and the half-bright modes. Good for the money but could be better
Good little flashlight overall. Feels very solid but yet it is light weight enough to be convenient. Very well focused beam which allows it to shine a very long distance. Probably not truly 6000 lumens tho as advertised. The main complaint I have is the focusing mechanism. It is merely a sliding apparatus that requires quite a bit of force to operate. In fact within the first battery charge ( which does last a long time) I stripped out the threads on the end lens piece of the light. I will probably just epoxy it to the mid section since you shouldn't ever need to take that apart anyway. The other thing I don't like is how the 5 different light settings work. As you click through them, the flashlight always comes back on at the one right after the point wheee you shut it off. So if you turn it off when it's on high, it comes back on at medium. Would be nice if somehow the light always came on high power on the first click. Battery life is great. Chargers are cheap but they work and you won't have to use them very often so they should last good enough.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't believe its 15000 Lumens ?
I have another flashlight with A SINGLE(same) battery & it show better(brighter) than this light. This light is not all bad BUT it is A lower grade quality. Lens has some type of scratch. The LED shows SQUARE in zoom out mode. Since it was cheaply made, it give A better light than non LED flashlights. Good Product
It's a good product by comparing the others. But not as bright as it's shown in the pics. I searched the Internet about this type of products and discovered there are some products with very bright LEDs. But those are more expensive. Improved grip with rescue tape
Kind of cold in my hand and slips too easily, so I wrapped it with two layers of rescue tape. HUGE improvement in maintaining a grip and comfort in holding it! I carefully sliced the tape where the back end screws on to remove the batteries. There's a skinny rubber gasket missing from the head assembly that holds the lens, so there might be an issue with moisture inside. The relatively even spread of light at any focus is a huge improvement over a standard flashlight. It looks decent enough, made out of durable aluminum alloy.
