Excellent product and top quality water. Can not recommend it enough
I have been using an EVA water filter for years and you periodically have to renew the filters which are expensive. A friend told me about these Berkey water filters, so I checked online and read reviews. I ordered on the same size as my existing filter, and it was delivered in 2 days. It was easy to clean and assembly took 5 minutes. You have to prime the filters but that only takes 5-6 mins in total. I ran water through the filters twice and filled it a 3rd time. The taste of the water was far superior and cleaner than the EVA filter. I am really impressed with the quality of the water and the product. I am very pleased with my Big Berkey.
I've always wanted one of these but I have held back because they seemed very expensive. Now I have one and I understand why. They are expensive because they are good quality, they work well, easy to assemble, operate and clean. The black filters can also be cleaned, so a big saving there. Well worth the money, my best purchase
I cannot recommend this enough. Perfect size for my daughter and I. Water take so much better. It's so easy to put together, fill up and use. I use it for drinking, washing food, washing up, water for the dog. Best purchase and definitely worth the money, knowing we're drinking clean, non flouride water. The fluoride filters last a year and the normal ones up to four years, saving so much in the long term compared to bottled water and much less rubbish/recycling pollution.

I'm not a water expert!
All I can say is that the Berkey filtered water is different from the unfiltered tap water that I'm used to, in a good way. What the Berkey has actually filtered I have absolutely no idea but what I do know, as a layman, is that I prefer the Berkey filtered water to the unfiltered.
