Having used water based treatments which fail very quickly I was looking for Creosote but as I'm not a licenced contractor or a farmer I can't be trusted with it... I was very impressed with the way this soaks into the wood as opposed to simply drying on the surface. Easy to apply with low odour and covers well, Follow directions, Wear gloves and goggles etc.
I like the way Bartoline Creosote soaks deep into the wood with a good water repellent quality rather than some preservatives which tend to treat the surface of the wood only. happy memories

Best bang for your buck.
I find this brand of creocote to be the most consistent. I really like to whack it on liberally. Once dry, the rain just beads and rolls away off the fence. Obviously, for the first week or so; it doesn’t ‘arf’ pen & ink”but the look and finish is brilliant. I bought this to use on a 10x6 ft shed with expectations of needing to buy another but it did all the exterior of the shed with some left over. Will buy more.
