Gate latch
This is a substantial gate latch with a galvanised finish. This is the only drawback as it leaves the product felling rough to the touch. The solution is to clean off the rough elements with wire wool and then give it a quick spray with a galvanising paint. It's certainly better than the one it is replacing. Overall it's a good latch.

Is this really a Gatemate product ???
The item was very shoddy. It was out of true, with burrs and an awful galvanised finish. Not what I have come to expect from Gatemate, so I suspect it wasn’t as described. There was no Gatemate branding - it came in a plain plastic bag which was suspicious. It also didn’t look like any of the images on the official Gatemate web site. I have written to the suppler Falcon Workshop and they haven’t responded. Very poor customer care.
