Feed the birds for less

Mealworm fat pelkets
Not very impressed with these as they are really small pellets which tend to fall through the feeders onto the ground . Not good. very dusty as well. When filling the bird feeders the dust goes everywhere and if the wind is blowing it goes all over me not very nice. Birds go crazy!!
Was a bit wary as I've had cheap suet pellets before and the birds just haven't taken to them, so my last purchase was an expensive bag. This time I thought I'd go back to the cheap prices as, being a pensioner, my pennies only go so far. So I bought this product and so glad I did. Saved a few £££s and the birds have gone crazy for them. They eat them 'neat' and I also make my own 'fat chunks' from these pellets, seed, nuts and mealworms and freeze them in lard. Good value, the birds love them
I feed my garden birds daily and originally ordered these pellets when because of lockdown I was unable to visit my usual stores and shops. They have proved an excellent buy. The birds love them and I know that they provide good nutrition for them and their young. I decanted the bulk box into empty 4-pint plastic milk bottles for safer, easier storage and use them both scattered loose and as part of a home-made mixture to refill empty coconut halves. One always expects to pay a little more for mealworm products but these are excellent value, good quality, intact pellets not dust, competitively priced (even allowing for carriage fees) and easy to use.
