Lightweight, very easy to manoeuvre, and surprisingly robust
This is my first Dyson, and I've been very happy with it. It cleans well on all surfaces and is lightweight and very easy to manoeuvre. I'd have to say that it's much better than any of my past cleaners. The balance feels good, and although the Dyson DC41 doesn't feel particularly robust, I've been using it for almost a year now, and it hasn't given me any problems at all. I am on the whole really pleased with this product. It's easy to use, although personally I find it a little heavy to manoeuvre but I'm sure this will ease with use. Yes I think it will be reliable, purely as this is my first upgrade since buying the DCO1 back in 1990something! Already I can tell the difference in the cleaning power. Straight away my carpets looked like new! I have 4 cat's, one who has long thick hair which comes out in clumps. Straight away, it hoovered up some really ground in fur which most other vacuum cleaners wouldn't touch No I don't think it's easy to empty at all, I have to pull "a lot!" out by hand which is totally unhygeinic and defeats the object!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

There's always a but!
1... Easy to use when you get used to it, though difficult to manoeuvre sometimes 2 ...reliable in as much as its new, so I hope it continues 3....easy to empty but not easy to wipe round after It's much heavier than my last Dyson and the tools system seems fragile which makes you feel quite clumsy.
