Bass lacks authority.
I’ve had Van den Hul CS122 and D352 and liked them a lot. Needing a short 2m + 2m run for an office system (Art Audio , A&R, Spendor), I thought that Clearwater would fit the bill nicely. Unfortunately the sound whilst clear sound oddly lacking in bass, (it’s there but somehow lacks body and drive). Currently I’m getting a much better balanced sound from some old QED D33 cable. Not a hit in my system.

Amazing cables
I have these cables connected to a Yamaha As501 amplifier and a sound boxed Wharfedale Diamond 220. I'm happy for the performance, I recommend. The cables are excellent and the price a big surprise.

Lacking in depth and dynamism
I was surprised to be disappointed. On my system they are smooth and detailed but lack the depth and dynamism of my old QED cables. So not an upgrade - Oh Well!
