This is a deterent only
Ok we have all seen U tube picking an AXA lock. This was fitted to a Kalkhoff using the frame mounting points. It is held in place by 2 bolts. If the key is left in 2 minutes with an allen key will remove the lock & the key. If the lock is used just removing the rear wheel & lock will see your bike down the road. This is a cafe lock to deter nice people. The chain needs to be used around the frame to deter not so nice people. The bolt holding the rear brake & mud guard protruded too far on this bike & was replaced by a button head bolt. On reflection the cheaper lock would suffice because this is only a deterrent. Ok easy to use & smart looking, just be careful where you park & use the chain. Or use a tatty bike that no one wants to nick.
