    1 stevia germinated out of 50 seeds. Not easy to germinate

    These are the facts. Out of 50 seeds only one germinated. I do not know if these seeds were the finest, to be honest ;) I carefully placed the ONLY surviving seed into the soil. There was some air, moisture, warmth and light. It was placed in a plastic clear dome with holes to grow. It was watered regularly moist but not wet. Seedling was growing but it stopped. It turned yellow, wilted and died I wish I took some photos. It is my 1st time to grow stevia from seeds. Will I buy these seeds again? Yes. it is always a trial and error when it is done the 1st time. for me it was worth to try & see if I can successfully propagate stevia from seeds. Let me see my 2nd batch next time :)

    Challenging

    This is second batch of seeds from a different supplier and same result, 1 in 50 germinated, Stevia seeds are EXTREMELY difficult to germinate, despite trying different techniques from internet

    Stevia normally have poor germination. These seeds had no problem germinating on a heat matt. Growing well so far! Thanks
