BMW replacement window slide
Irritating to find window slide mechanism failed because of a broken clip. The replacement although plastic was very easy to fit and restored the window winder to full working order at a fraction of the cost of replacing the full mechanism. Only niggle is the fastening to the window is a hole instead of a slot (as on the original) which means the securing bolt has to be removed and relocated which is a bit tricky especially on the left side.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The cheapest alternative repair
Although coarsely finished and rather tight fitting on the guide rails, these units effect a satisfactory repair at around 100th the cost of a genuine replacement regulator unit. Provided the door opening side clip alone needs replacement, this can be readily achieved without the need for temporarily removing the complete regulator, window glass and door airbag assembly. A month after fitting my car window continues to operate satisfactorily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
