This is the 1st British sous vide recipe book with over 100 recipes. At the start of the book we have many different brines, cures, butters and marinades that will sit beautifully with many of the dishes.
An instructive book but not for cooking beginners.
The book arrived quickly, was well-packed and in a very good condition for a 'used' book.
It's my first foray into sous vide cooking and this book gave me a good idea of the process and equipment needed.
Nice photos of each dish but some recipes are not really for cooking beginners! Some of the recipes are rated easy but others rated hard and seem to be far more 'professional chef'-type dishes. There is a section on curing - both wet and dry - and also butters, and using a smoking gun. The smoking gun was not expected in a sous vide book.
If you are looking for a basic, how-to sous vide book, I'm afraid this book may not be for you.
