Body measurement retractable tape
Easy to read and log accurate measurements from the outside when measuring.
It's also easy to use, and requires very little strength or dexterity. Just press the small button in the middle, which depresses easily and hold.
Pull out the tape via the plastic nodule on the end, making sure your giving yourself at least a few inches more than you think you'll need.
Let go of the white button. It should go back to the way it was before you pressed it. The tape should stay out. If it doesn't, troubleshoot by checking you haven't pushed the button under the casing with your nail.
Once the tape stays out, wrap around the thing you want to measure, i.e leg, vase etc.
Once you have wrapped the tape around, insert the plastic end of the tape into the holder in the main device.
Once this has been inserted (it's ok if some of the plastic on the tape is still showing) gently depress the white button again, and the tape should tighten around the thing being measured.
Ensure that the concave end of the device is snug against the measured item.
From the outside, read the size, which should be to the left if your right handed and vice versa.
All in all, the device itself feels a little cheap, some of the connections in the main device has small spaces etc but it works quickly, and provides good results, which are accurate even in comparison to more expensive models.
