It works and i'm over the moon. Actually iits better than the original now my 2005 laptop will be used again.I was so surprised and happy to learn that I was able to replace the charger power supply as it seems to have left the home.

OK for the money, but the cable should be longer.
Works fine and is worth having for the money. However... it's a pity that the cable which plugs into the laptop isn't slightly longer - an extra 20 cms would have been nice. The short cable means that when you're using a laptop on a bed, the weight of the transformer hangs over the edge of the bed and puts strain on the socket. Sure, you can move the transformer onto the bed, but that's a chore.

Let's cut to the quip.....adaptors aren't very exciting are they. I'm not going to say a load of hyper marketing rubbish like ` If you're looking for an adaptor that feeds electric to your laptop like lightning, this baby is the one for you !!! It's like an adaptor on steroids, ready to give you a torrent of unstoppable electric whenever you need it !!!..... ' No....what i will say is this; it's a good adaptor, safe, reliable and does what it needs to at the right price. Don't chance buying untested, potentialy unsafe adaptors, this one ticks all the right boxes and will meet all your needs in an adaptor. David Coggon

Excellent Replacement Laptop Charger
I purchased this product as the original charger lead had split and was unsafe to use. It is just the job, it doesn't get as hot as the other one. I would certainly recommend buying this to anyone who needs to get a replacement.
