When you gotta have SCSI-I
What a pain it can be getting an old SCSI-I device to run on a modern PC. Thankfully this cable bridged the gap, since about all you're going to find in reasonably SCSI controllers that run on later Windows OS'es is the Adaptec 29320LPE -- which has the higher-density SCSI-5 connector on it.
Disclaimer: The Adaptec 29320LPE works reasonably on Windows7 x64, but all bets are off with Windows10.
Anyway, this cable got my old film scanner running again, and the cost of a good film scanner is about 3x the cost of a high-end gaming PC.
