I don’t know what people are saying it doesn’t work even after doing the special instructions sent by the seller, which by the way is considerate of him and shows professionalism. I have no affiliation fyi. This is an honest review. You don’t even need to wrap it like the extra instructions say. It numbs, topically. Discomfort is lessened by a lot and stays numb for a good couple of hours sometimes more after the numbing effect starts. Either I have a super high threshold for pain or most are just too sensitive to little pain. In my opinion if I were to use this to numb my skin for a tattoo, it wouldn’t completely numb it but it would numb it enough to be comfortable (it would ruin the excitement imho)....not that getting a tattoo is so bad anyway....once again depends on pain tolerance and location of application. Bottom line we all have different pain thresholds but this cream did what it said it would for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not so speedy numbing cream or maximum strength...in my opinion
I received instructions on how to apply this after purchase. You must place some type of plastic wrap on the area you want tattooed or pierced. Well if you want your baby toe or wrist tattooed or pierced then give it a go. I was merely trying to take a dermal that had come to surface out and it did not numb my skin. I applied it multiple times just to a small area and again nothing. You may be better off taking ibuprofen or aspirin before your procedure if you don’t have issues with thinning blood. Save your money 💴

Good for an OTC
This cream is ok only for topical numbness. It is very time consuming and according to the instructions to get good results you need to reapply and wait for at least 45 minutes! The manufacturer suggests not to allow the product to dry and the area needs saturation. Tube was small for multiple reapplications however for a small area that is not "hidden" on the body it's just ok. I wouldn't repurchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I test this cream before my next kybella treatment, this really helps w/ (itching, sore, pain, sensitivity afterwards) it's an excellent product. I put a small dot of it on my chin and after few minutes i didn't feel anything for 3 long hours. No lidocaine, faulty product, do not purchase
The directions for this product are very time consuming, apply rub in, apply again thick layer w/o rubbing in, cover w/plastic wrap for 1-2 hours! Even following such directions, product did not work, no numbing whatsoever! I was ecstatic with the results. I got a frenum and Hafada piercing which I have had in the past. In the past when having them done there was a great deal of discomfort since placement is in a sensitive area. My piercer would try to keep my mind off the pain that was forthcoming, but I would still jerk and hold my breath. Having them done this I felt nothing but a little pressure. Not to happy with this product
