I got seal kit as a repair kit to a leaking TF1. TBH the tf1 design is not brilliant where the seal sits. I ended up using the seal kit, PTFE tape, silicon grease and overtightening the top cap to get it to seal. I'd also cleaned all the surfaces. So next time I clean the system I'll probably have to replace the whole TF1.... The kit itself is fine, just the O ring would be better in a recessed channel rather than on a flat mating surface.

Did the job as would be expected. I only used the 2 "O" rings (large & small ones), both fitted OK and so far no leaks.

When told by the service engineer that the seal's had gone on the central heating filter I found this kit on eBay. The quote to replace the filter was £145 + vat and £120 + vat for labour. With the kit it took me 15 minutes and the cost of the kit to repair the leak. Will not be using that company again.

I haven't actually used these seals on my Fernox Boiler Buddy: I had a major 'sludge problem' in my central heating system. Ten years of annual 'Boiler Servicing', never actually broke the seal on the Boiler's Buddy (ie they never did a proper job). I ordered these seals in preparation, but, had to call the original installer to cure the 'sludge/debris' problem, before the seals arrived. The installer emptied 'The Buddy': I now have them as 'spare' (insurance), and they look correct (comforting).

Good price but cannot comment on the actual product because I have not used it as yet. However looking at the product it appears to be alright.
