Solid cedar hive
A good solid cedar hive. The assembly is relatively easy. The instructions could have been clearer, but there is a video on the website which I found after assembling the first hive. I agree with the the previous reviews, that you would rather pay a bit more for all nails. I had to go twice to the local dyi to get the right nails and pins of all sizes.

Langstroth hive
At first sight, this hive appears to be of excellent quality for the price. Good strong cedar wood. I would recommend using some chisels to get the joints to fit. My only complaint would be that nails and screws don’t come with it. I’d pay a couple of quid more to have everything.

Not a complete set up.
I'm a total newbie to this but thought I'd give it a go. What you aren't told is that you will have to spend a further 50 to 80 pounds to put the necessary frames in. It's a solid piece of kit but if I bought another I would go for a complete set up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
