great improvement from stock
installed on 1974 tl125. came with all the needed parts, didn't have to modify, boosted hp and torque 30/40 % from "worn out" stock. plan to do my 73 tl125 soon. cant buy the parts and bore the cylinder for same cost.

The new cylinder was not thoroughly clea...
The new cylinder was not thoroughly cleaned from the factory and the mechanic that put the engine together for me noticed the debris in the cylinder and on the piston… I would’ve thought buying something brand new would’ve been ready to install, but I’m glad that he noticed that it needed to be clean before installing…

Works well with the XL 125 as well!
The only mod needed for this to work on the XL 125 is one of the cooling fins needs to be chipped off, or cut down because it gets in the way of the clutch lever on the right crankcase.
