Exceeded expectations
Having not seen these anywhere before, wasn't quite sure what to expect. Although supplied from Germany the product is made in Italy. The instructions are on the side of the box, so make sure you don't throw it away. One of the reasons i selected this compared to other reels, was the the longer handle for winding the hose in. It was relatively easy and quick to assemble, with no tools required apart from mounting on a wall. It swivels nicely from side to side and if you wish you can remove it and store inside over winter. The sides of the drum are metal as is the main support cradle, all other parts are plastic. I put 30m of Fitt NTS hosepipe on it, it held that comfortably including full of water. Essentially the drum is held in a cradle with a hook on the back that sits in a plastic sleeve which mounted on your vertical surface.
