Awesome Stuff!
I use these to keep the toilet bowl clean and help to sanitize it without much work on my part because of the busy schedule. It definitely keeps the algae from growing in the bowl and also keeps the ring from forming too fast as it does without the Clorox tablet in the tank. What about the environment? Well, I have heard that as it mixes with the organic material from human waste it gets converted or consumed if you will for the lack of a better term into something more mundane that does not damage the environment. Sewage treatment plants that process sewage outflow monitors bacteria in their outflow and adds chlorine accordingly to it to mitigate the situation. Don't believe me? Go to a sewage treatment plant and ask. I did an oceanography study on sewage outflow into the ocean and one of the criteria was to visit a sewage treatment plant to see how their operation ran. As far as ammonia from biodegrading human waste mixing with chlorine to produce chloramine vapor which also has the potential to form hydrazine? Reduced Maintenance
Product works great at reducing stains and bacterial build-up. Doesn't have a strong odor and lasts a long while. Only drawback I have had a few times is when the tab has reduced in size to the point where when the toilet is flushed, it has been sucked out of the tank and has lodged itself in the passageway leading to the bowl. Can't do without my Clorox toilet bowl bleach tablets!
This is a great product. I can always tell when the tablet is almost totally dissolved. The inside of the bowl starts to get a slimy film and I can't smell the bleach when flushing. Using these tablets keeps the toilet bowl looking and smelling clean and fresh.
