Let the Buyer Beware!
The Keurig K-Classic K50 appears much like the one we had to replace after 7 years. However, it is almost entirely plastic, instead fo metal; no longer has a clock accessory; and has buttons for adjusting the coffee instead of a digital readout. In other words, the popularity of Keurig single serve coffeemakers has led to diminished quality and likely durability. The customer reviews were not exactly inspiring, though we decided to get one on a wing and a prayer. If our experience matches many of the disgruntled purchasers of this generation's Keurig coffeemakers, it is likely we will be similarly dissatisfied buyers prepared far too soon to search for other brands to satisfy our coffee addiction.
