Happy granddaughter
I bought this for a granddaughter's Christmas and her mother informed me that she'd only seen the top of her head for most of Christmas Day as she was peering into the microscope. My daughter also tried it out, though briefly, and was quite impressed with what she saw. I haven't yet had the opportunity to check it out for myself but as my granddaughter is happy thus far, so am I.

Bought as a gift
I bought this as a gift for our ten year old grandson. He is very pleased with it but I am unable to confirm how good it is to use. What I will say though is that the carry case was well packed has lots of useful bits and pieces plus some samples of things to look at to get him started. All in all a very nice gift especially for the price
