Burns the fat!
Excellent machine, this is the perfect way to get fit and burn some fat off. The actual machine came with a reasonable amount of self-fitting to get it fully operational. The fitting instructions are comprehensive and there was no problem encountered in fully erecting the rower. Once switched on, a guide is needed to understand the various rowing activities, of which there are 12 programmes, plus a number or other ways to kill yourself! The various programmes can be used either slowly or at a pace to suit your current fitness levels - all of which are a good workout. Puts a lot of strain on the lower lumbar spine
Note this needs to be plugged in to an electrical socket. The magnetic resistance gives a jerking pull at the beginning of the stroke which really tires the arms and strains the back. The legs are not well exercised as a result. I slip forward on the seat. The rope started to wear a groove in the edge of the rubber cover after the first 5 minute session. The screen is ‘1990s’ and hard to look at. At 5’ 10” the machine feels too small for me. The feet are hard plastic, not rubber so I had to buy two cheap rubber doormats so as not to slip across the floor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality Rowing machine
The Viavito rowing machine is a great machine for regular domestic use. The unit was delivered swiftly and as arranged and easily assembled. The range of different programmes and resistance levels maintains motivation and interest for all the family, whilst the magnetic resistance proves very quiet compared to similar air/fan resistance units. My only slight criticism relates to the foot plate brackets which seem quite lightweight in their connection to the main body and have developed an annoying squeak whilst in use that cannot be silenced with either WD40 or tightening the securing bolts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
