A densely packed dictionary for a serious learner
As an veteran ESL teacher, I would highly recommend this as a great Spanish-only dictionary for a second-language learner serious about advancing his or her knowledge above the simple beginner or translation level, a native speaker needing a good reference tool, or anyone interested in expressing himself better (completely) in Spanish. Though the print is smaller than expected, the density and size of the volume help to explain that maybe the publishers were trying to maintain that somewhat-compact softcover feeling. They succeeded. It reads and turns almost like a language bible. 😊 Charts abound within the first few pages, however small their font size. Again, despite the font size, this dictionary is full—but make sure you read it in a well-lit area (or your eyes may suffer).
