Cheap way to add a few more semi-fast USB3 ports without needing the E-Port dock
These are a good way to use up the 54mm thing Express-card slot that is often sitting there unused, can add another 3 port USB3 to this and expand to get more ports, so just a cheap way to add more to the system especially if UR taking this on the GO, it's like a small dock to go and does not need the separate power tap brick to power itVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Driver from the installation CD did not worked for Windows 7
Driver from the installation CD did not worked for Windows 7. (The card was recognised, but did not operate.) Luckily installing the latest drivers from the manufacturer's site (FRESCO LOGIC INC.) solved the problem. Ubuntu Linux 14.04 recognised the card out of the box.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The USB3.0 PCMCIA card is ok and the price is good
The USB3.0 PCMCIA card is ok and the price is good. The delivery was fast, the down-side was that the driver software delivered together with the card on a small CD was too old and the new one needed to be downloaded from web to get a version which works together with the latest Windows 7 security updated versions. Also the installation of the downloaded driver was tricky and needed a couple of removals and also resulted in a blank screen and the card had to be removed and the laptop rebooted a couple of time to recover. Good for a handy people, who know their way around Windows 7 drivers and OS tricks, but would not recommend to a noobie.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
